Last year it was new mom Mariah Carey who spent some time in the hospital, but now it's her husband Nick Cannon who is recuperating. The singer took to Twitter Wednesday to reveal that Cannon recovering from "mild" kidney failure in Aspen, Colo.
"Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure," Carey tweeted Wednesday morning, along with a photo of her and Cannon in a hospital bed.

"We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful," she wrote, adding that they're stuck in Aspen for the time being. "The truth is as long as we're together, we're OK. I'm not trying to make light out of the situation because it's a serious moment that's very tough on all of us soplease keep us and our family in your prayers."
Carey and Cannon have been celebrating the holidays in Aspen with their children, Monroe and Moroccan.
